Writer: Beth AndersonBeth Anderson

Since we have been learning about the different types of figurative language, let's see what you can find and identify in the book you are reading. Today, you will need to directly quote at least three passages from what you read today which contain a form of figurative language. For each, you will first write the quote, then identify the type of figurative language it represents, and finally explain what the author means and why he or she chose to write it in the way they did. I will post an example so you have a better idea of what I am expecting.
