Today, I want you to look at the plot or your book from a different perspective by imagining the protagonist and the antagonist have changed places. Keep in mind that the antagonist is not necessarily a villain, but rather the person or force that is against the protagonist. This means that sometimes the "good guy" is the antagonist.
In class, we used the example of "Maleficent." In the classic Disney story of "Sleeping Beauty," Maleficent is in fact the antagonist as an evil fairy who puts a spell on the princess in her bid to destroy the King. However, years later Disney put a spin on the story when they made the movie "Maleficent." In this version of the story, Maleficent is the protagonist. "This version of Maleficent is portrayed as a sympathetic character, who is misunderstood in trying to protect herself and her domain from humans." The King is the antagonist as he is leading the charge against Maleficent and her domain.
Now it's your turn. In a minimum of two well-constructed paragraphs, I want you to summarize the plot of the book you are reading, but tell the story from the view of the antagonist. If you just started a new book, you can talk about the last book that you read.
I understand this may be a little challenging to rethink the storyline, but I wouldn't have given you this prompt if I didn't think you can do it. We are going to finish the semester strong, and I am excited to see what you do!
I only bullied people because my life is rough. My dad is abusive and my mom is never home.I bullied Mia because she was living a perfect life.I would lock her in the closet because of her friend. It was very hard for me going to an only girl school. When I locked Mia in a closet I was being so mean and she was never mean to me.After locking her in the closet I realized that I was being very mean.
Mia said to me that just because my life is bad doesn’t mean I have to be mean to other people. After she had told me that I should try being nice to people like starting now by letting her out of…
Malcolm had never been more frustrated with the outcome that Crispen had made a half court shot to send the thrilling game into a third overtime. I never suspected that this game was going to be as competitive and hard fought, as it was. Even though we were the underdogs in this match up I still I expected us to come out on top. He could still imagine what the fans would think of him on campus after the game, and he would still recieve credit for how will he played win or lose. Even though a win a would guarantee a spot in the national championship.
The Heist by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg

The antagonist is the Nazi's in my story. My army of men and myself were walking back to our main base when we heard people in our bunker when no one was there. We got really nervous and sent several people down there to see if it was an intruder. I went down with them to make sure they wouldn't escape. When we got down to the bottom we could see several people running away. We ran as fast as we could to catch up with them but we couldn't catch them. They got to the end and opened the door we were right behind them at that point. The very last person just got away I had grabbed his…
